Hello,
I noticed a problem with an IMAP client (a CRM module in a specialized software) that is in use in my organization: E-Mails with attachments will be sent, but not stored in a IMAP folder.
Even though I set the log level to debug, gromox-imap wouldn't log anything except successful login for the connection. I disabled encryption and analyzed the traffic and found "BAD literal size too large". I assume that unlike other IMAP clients this one doesn't break up large mails in multiple chunks, but rather sends them as one large string.
I had a quick look at the gromox source code and it seems that sizes are hardcoded and not configurable. Any chance this issue could be fixed in the future?
I also contacted the support of the client software, but I assume that they licensed some 3rd-party module for mail handling and cannot change that.
Best regards
Stefan
