Imported vCard Contacts using the WebUI not searchable or shown in address book

Hi,
I have a problem wit the WebUI of Grommunio and imported contacts.

If I import my contacts as a vCard into the webinterface of grommunio all contacts are displayed in the contact tab, but if I search for any contact the result ist always empty.

If I am writing an E-Mail click on the to button and want to select the contact from the address book, the contacts are also empty. Only if I create a contact manually in the webinterface it can be found when searching as well as it is displayed in the address book.

The contacts are exported from Macs contacts app.

Is this a bug, or what can be the reason for this?

Hi @nettania,

could you please share at least one such vCard (you may anonymize the contents if you like)? Do these contacts have an email address? If you open and save one of the imported contacts without changing anything, does it appear for the selection when writing an email?

I experience the same issue as well. However, I notice that the Contact will not appear when in Business Card view, but does appear when viewing contacts in the Phone List view.

Sorry, for the late reply,
I found a workaround. If I import the contacts using Outlook they are stored correctly and can be found in the WebUi. The problem seams to be in the import function of the WebUI.
