midb[18240]: E-1222: oxcmail_export of msg failed

I noticed there are thousands messages like this in /var/log/syslog (I assume one for every mail):

midb[18240]: E-1222: oxcmail_export of msg /var/lib/gromox/user/1/0:2392970 failed

Any idea what is causing this? It started this monday. Nothing special happened this monday, could just have been a standard update. I also did not notice a problem at the clients so far.

Try to update to current version.

I usually update the entire system twice a week (including grommunio). It was last updated this morning, happened last time today at 16:35, but there is no later update (for Debian 12)

Just checked the logs, problem is still there

Nobody any idea? I had a look at the oxcmail_export function in /gromox/lib/mapi/oxcmail.cpp, and it can return false for about 50 different reasons (there doesn't seem to be a debug option to get the exact point where it returns).
How can I debug this? It's spamming the syslog and I don't know what's wrong

If you have Outlook, you can export the mail as .msg and send it to support@grommunio.com where I can pick that up. If Linux only, the exchange.sqlite3 file of that user would also work.

sqlite3> SELECT * FROM message_properties WHERE message_id=2392769 AND proptag=0x70001f;

0x37001f or 0x70001f for subject, 0x42001f for the sender name. That should help narrow it down in graphical clients.

Meanwhile I added logging to all the return statements to give an indication which line.
