Rollback wie?

Wie führt man ein Rollback durch wenn das System bsbw. nach einem Update nicht mehr richtig funktioniert?

Das dürfte schwierig werden, wenn unbekannt ist, welche Dateien geupdated wurden. Wenn es sich um eine VM handelt, ist ein Klone oder Backup daher ratsam, bei einer nativen Installation wirds aufwendiger. Die Dokumentation kann da ggf. helfen.

If the system (appliance VM?) uses BTRFS there should be snapshots which could help...

There is even the service gromox-snapshot in the appliance available for this task. Keep in mind to make the directory /var/lib/gromox-snapshots available as well.

What does make it available mean? Doesn‘t it exist by default?

Well... the service is there... but I think you should enable it as it's off by default (but I may be wrong)

The other thing is that the zypper could/should do asnapshot before updating the packages...

The other thing you could do is to perform a "downgrade"... but I suppose you should (manually) find older versions of packages and re-install them...

Maybe is also possible to make snapshots with the host system. In my case is possible as well as to make clones or backups.
