Thanks, I now updated to:
Name : gromox
Version : 2.24.26.gd7e589e
Release : lp155.9.1
Here's my observations (EWS connection via Apple Mail (16.0) on MacOS Monterey 12.7.2 and Outlook for Mac v16.8.2) :
- Apple Mail: Sending attachments > approx. 2.5MB (file size) still fails. Smaller attachments are going through fine but that already worked before the 2.24 update.
- Apple Mail: The mailbox listing still shows encoding problems for the title of some emails (shows up as "=?utf-8?Q?..."). There is no such problem in the preview plane or if you open the mail directly.
- Apple Mail: Strange issue, signed mails with a valid key (e.g. some DHL mails) do not show up in Apple Mail. They are on the server and are synched via EAS without problems.
- Apple Contacts: Not all contact details are synched (missing e.g. addresses and job/company details). Complete on server and via EAS.
- Apple Calendar: seems to be working ok
- Outlook: same issue with attachment sizes as with Apple Mail. Leads me to think that the issue is still on the server side.
- Outlook: all encoding issues seem to be fixed - yay!
- Outlook: signed mails (e.g. some DHL-mails) show up in the inbox. There seems to be a strange behavior that these particular mails are not marked as "read" even if I had looked at them before on a mobile device (connected via EAS). When I open them in Outlook itself, then they become also marked as "read" in Outlook.
- Outlook: Contact sync is also incomplete - missing job/company details and addresses.
- Outlook: Calendar seems to be working ok.
It is all moving in the right direction but I am sorry to say that we are not yet there - at least not for my setup.
- I don't know where the bottleneck for attachment sizes is coming from. I have the server behind a reverse proxy but other servers/services behind the same reverse proxy have no such problem.
- Maybe there's a vcf mapping issue via EWS. On the server all the data looks ok and sync via EAS is also flawless.
