I found some old threads mentioning that a custom sent folder for shared mailboxes is only possible by changing a setting within Outlook:

https://docs.microsoft.com/de-de/microsoft-365/admin/email/add-another-email-alias-for-a-user
https://www.msoutlook.info/question/send-mail-from-additional-exchange-address-or-alias
Is there a way to achieve the same within the web client (I would love more people starting to just use this one instead of this shitty huge and unreliable Outlook stuff)?
So I want to send mails on behalf of a shared mailbox but the sent mails should automatically be saved in the sent folder of the shared mailbox instead of my personal one. Also the Return-Path: within the sent mail should not be set to my personal mailbox because this leads to bounces and answers coming back to my personal mailbox instead of the shared mailbox while using the web client.
I also didn't get yet how the "deputy function" works within the web client. Can this function solve my need? I couldn't find anything in the docs and as it has been mentioned in one of the older threads I'm curious to know if this function is limited to Outlook as well or if it can be used within the web client too.
Would love to get some enlightening thoughts about that 😎
