joergs I have noticed a strange phenomenon with my Grommunio installation (latest version of the appliance, all updates) in interaction with Outlook (Office 2021) and Apple Mail (MacOS): Mails that I write with Apple Mail are properly stored in the "Sent Items" folder. While these mails sent with Apple Mail (MacOS) are also displayed in the Grommunio web frontend, they do not appear in the "Sent Items" folder of either Outlook or Apple Mail (iOS). However, if I write an email with Apple Mail (iOS) or Outlook, it appears in the "Sent Items" folders of all clients. The account is set up as an Exchange account in the clients. Does anyone know the problem and possibly even have a solution?
joergs Apple Mail MacOS, 14.4.1 Version 16.0 Apple Mail iOS, 17.4.1 Outlook 2021 (LTSC MSO (16.0.14332.20678) 64-Bit) Grommunio: Latest version with all updates from this morning
jengelh joergs Grommunio: Latest version with all updates from this morning I hate it when people say that. We have at least two versions on offer at any one time (supported, community, devel), not to mention that "morning" is highly unspecific and could be either before our rsync runs or afterwards.
WalterH Outlook in Caching or Online mode? try to resync the Sent Items folder in Outlook - will this help?
joergs Thank you for your reply. Indeed, the missing mails appear when I deactivate the cache mode in Outlook. If I then reactivate it, the mails that I sent with Apple Mail for MacOS are missing again in Outlook's "Sent Items". *) Strange problem. Is there any way to fix this? *) This cannot be tested in Apple Mail (iOS), as there is no mode without caching. In any case, the mails sent by Apple Mail (MacOS) and stored in the "Sent Items" folder in Apple Mail (iOS) are not displayed.
