PCN Kommen von Kopano... Waren es gewohnt, bei Problemen in /var/log/kopano ein Logfile pro Dienst zu finden und dort entsprechend zügig und zielgerichtet Fehler entdecken zu können. /var/log/gromox ist leer Im syslog steht bissel was - ist aber unübersichtlich. mail.log enthält zu viel - auch Einträge, die nicht direkt mit Mail zu tun haben (z.B web) Weiß jemand, wo es eine Übersicht der Logfiles gibt bzw. was guter Anlaufpunkt für Fehlersuche wäre?
WalterH Das meiste loggt nach journalctl -f, ist ein system-d System. Die http Logs findet man in /var/log/nginx. Active Sync Logs findet man in: /var/log/grommunio-sync/.
auh Alternativ ein z.B. rsyslog installieren ... dann können auch tools die nicht mit dem journal umgehen können die logs auswerten.

crpb Man muss sich nur mal dran gewöhnen dann ist das durchschauen von logs mittels journal weitaus einfacher IMHO
Fux Hm, ein Logfile pro Dienst war so ziemlich das einfachst-denkbare. Problem mit spooler - gucken wir doch mal in die spooler.log... Wie ein Journal, gemixt mit diversen Einträgen + (scheinbar) wahllos verteilte Logs (wie z.B. /var/log/grommunio-dav/dav.log) da einfacher sein sollen, erschließt sich mir nicht.
crpb Jo das mit den zusätzlichen einzellogs darfste mich nicht fragen. Ich denke das könnte auch via php-fpm direkt im journal landen aber hab mich jetzt auch nicht direkt mit beschäftigt. Da wurde aber auch etwas hin und her geschoben in den letzten 2 jahren was das betrifft. Aber dinge wie journalctl --boot --unit=gromox-http --unit=gromox-midb ..... schafft da ordnung wenn man nur spezielle logs sehen will. bspw.: systemctl --state enabled --state running list-unit-files für eine liste was es da so gibt. Ansonsten halt man journalctl *duck*
