  • Unable to send as an alias using the web interface (zcore)

I have a user, user@domaina.com and an alias set as user@domainb.com. This works fine over EWS, I can choose to send as either address (DKIM etc all set up).

As I can't currently send using EWS (https://github.com/grommunio/gromox/issues/102), I am trying using the web interface, but get the error "W-1643: rejecting submission of msgid e200050000000001h because its PR_SENT_REPRESENTING_ENTRYID does not reference a user in the local system".

Is there something I've missed to make zcore aware of the aliases? Other than the outgoing smtp url which I already have set in /etc/gromox/gromox.cfg I don't see anything else that would apply.

andreaslang unfortunately it's not possible to send an email from an alias using grommunio-web.

Sorry for hijacking this thread, but I stumbeld over this, also.

What is the grommunio-way to send an email via grommunio-web as an alias or an other email-address?

Thanks

    kokel as an alias

    none

    kokel or another email-address?

enable the "from" field and enter the address you user has send-as/delegate permissions to.

Sure, but to give a user send-as permission there has to exist a user account for the address the user wants to send-as.

So, I assume it's not possible for a user to send as an email alias (if no account exists for this address) via grommunio-web.
Via postfix/submission this should be possible with the correct postmap.
