Die aktuell genutzte Piler Version ist recht alt und bietet keine Möglichkeit einer Löschung von Mails aus dem Archiv. Auch wenn Mails in einem Archiv generell nicht gelöscht werden sollen, können spezielle Compliance Anforderungen eine Löschung notwendig machen. Aktuell würde das nur über einen direkten Eingriff in die "metadata" Tabelle von Piler (groarchive) möglich sein. Hier müsste die Spalte "retained" auf einen Zeitstempel in der Vergangenheit gesetzt werden. Mit dem nächsten Purge sollte die Mail dann gelöscht werden. Leider ist die Suche der zu löschenden Mail sehr aufwendig. Es ist auch keine Dokumentation möglich, was diesen Löschvorgang rechtlich schwierig macht.
Modernere Piler Versionen erlauben offensichtlich eine Löschung von Mails über den Auditor User, wenn dies in der Config explizit erlaubt wird ($config['ENABLE_DELETE'] = 1😉. Hier können Mails dann über das Backend mit Angabe einer Begründung gelöscht werden. Dies wäre dann auch eine rechtlich saubere Löschstrategie.
Bestehen Pläne Grommunio Archive dahingehend zu aktualisieren, bzw. kennt jemand einen anderen Weg, um Mails in Grommunio Archive zu löschen?
