Web-admin Login Issue

I am currently in the process of setting up a test instance of Grommunio. However, I fail as soon as I try to log in to the web interface with the web-admin. No matter what password I set in the console. As soon as I log on to the web interface with the "admin" and the fresh password, I get the message "Logon failed. Please verify your credentials and try again."
Does anyone have any ideas? I currently have the ISO running on a VM in my Hyper-V. I have also tried a complete reinstallation, but the message persists and I cannot log in to the web interface.

https://your-server.com:8443 is the place to go

I know the website. The problem is when I want to log in there I get the message described above. I have set the password via the console on the appliance.

Hi Walter, I have deleted the cache several times. I also started Firefox/Edge and Chrome in incognito mode. Unfortunately it doesn't help, again and again :"Logon failed. Please verify your credentials and try again".I'm literally at the end of my rope with ideas.

How did you (re)set the admin-web password?

From time to time I have similar effects and sometimes it seems as best to start VM, host and computer new and to try maybe also a login at another device, because in the past I had also this effect, that I tried on another computer and the login runs.

I did it once via the console with "grommunio-admin passwd". And then again via the GUI with "Change admin-web password". Then i restarted the server completely.

For test, use only characters (upper and lower case), numbers and no spaces or any other special characters in password.

I have already set the simplest passwords as a test and it still didn't work.

The 192.168.0.100 is also the ip I use to access the web interface from another computer.

Anyway, I have set it up again and don't ask me why...it works. So feel free to close it here. Thanks to everyone who has been looking for a solution.

That localhost : ~ # makes me itch. The output of ip a might be helpful.

And you are sure, that you aren't trying to login into the wrong webapp? This error message doesn't exist in neither the admin-web, nor the admin-api code

You are sure you use this URL: https://192.168.0.100:8443 to log on to the Admin-UI?
Post the output from:journalctl -f when trying to log on.
