I have the WBXML logs, for whatever reason, the iOS Mail app almost never displays search results, even though I see them in the logs (i.e. grommunio sends results back). It's been like this since we started with Grommunio, I am just getting to it now. Does anyone know where to look?
No results from iOS EAS Search
Sorry for the delay, life =D
Yes, it seems EAS search only works on the FROM field, it does not do any full-text searching. Is this something that needs to be enabled?
Hi,
as far as I know on the iOS devices the user is able to select where to search (everywhere, just the subject, just the sender, just the name of attachment). grommunio-sync then performs the full-text search, there's nothing to enable.
It's also possible that the iOS filters the results and displays the items matching search criteria in the FROM field only. I don't own an iOS device and am not very familiar with them though, so I'm not able to say if there's some configuration option on the device itself.

So I did a search, and grommunio just seems to return immediately without sending any results? Maybe once in a blue moon I get results but it's rare it actually works.

Hi,
taking this request as example, do you have an email containing "Lieferando" somewhere (subject, body, sender address, ...)? It worth to note that the device only requested to search the inbox, so if such an email is in another folder, gromunio-sync won't find it.
- Edited
Yes of course
in inbox, I must receive about 2 a month minimum. I also run the indexer regularly. All in inbox
Hi,
could you please export such an email from lieferando as an eml-file in grommunio-web and send it to support referencing this post and that I requested it?
