Nach Neuinstallation auf Debian 12 kein Login mehr möglich (admin)

Ich habe am Freitag den 21. Feb. eine Neuinstallation durchgeführt. Danach war unter
https://server.de:8443/login?redirect=/
kein Login mehr möglich.
Die Grommunio Seite mit Username, Passwort und Login Button erscheint noch.
Nach Eingabe von admin und Passwort und Klick auf Login erscheint in rot
Database Error.
Am Montag davor hat das noch funktioniert.
Auch nach einem Update einer alten Installation ging auch noch alles.
Ich habe mit folgendem Script installiert:

/usr/local/share/grommunio-setup/grommunio-setup

In der Logfile sind auch Fehler zu sehen.

Da hat der Installer abgebrochen. Sieht so aus, als ob ein Apache2 (Warning: Could not load Apache 2.4 maintainer script helper) und ein nginx installiert sind. Den Apache2 vollständig entfernen könnte helfen.

Hat nichts gebracht.

sieht so aus, als ob apache2 nicht installiert ist.

apt-get purge apache2 apache2-utils
liefert:
Package 'apache2' is not installed, so not removed
Package 'apache2-utils' is not installed, so not removed
Ich habe sogar das Betriebssystem neu installiert (Neustes Debian 12 auf virtual box)
Ich habe auch eine Neuinstallation auf meinem Strato Server durchgeführt.
Da geht jetzt auch nichts mehr.

Wenn der Installer abbricht, könnten diese Befehle helfen:

apt-get -f install
apt --fix-broken install
dpkg --configure -a
aptitude full-upgrade

Einfach testen ob das hilft?

Hallo schönen guten Morgen, das gleiche hier. Bis Donnerstag Abend liefen die Installation ohne Probleme. Wir haben ca. 10 Test Installationen von Mo - Do ohne Probleme erledigt. Seit Freitag morgen ist keine Neuinstallation mehr möglich.

Ich habe es am Wochenende auf X Hyper-V Servern versucht, immer das gleiche Resultat (Database Error), wir haben uns Letzte Woche Montag das erste mal mit dem Produkt Grommunio beschäftigt und waren am überlegen ob es eine Kauflösung für unsere Kunden ist.

Nach der Erfahrung besser nicht.

Die Standarddistribution ist eigentlich SuSE, bei welcher mir zumindest keine solchen Probleme bekannt sind. Insofern würde ich bei einem solchen Vorhaben und Testumfang das Standardpackage mit einbeziehen.

Ich möchte die Software auf einem Strato virtual Server laufen lassen. Und da gibts kein Suse, sondern nur Debian.

Lade ich mir aus dem Archiv die Version von 29.07.2023 0:40 Uhr herunter geht der Login sofort nach der Installation. Da hat einer offensichtlich die Updates nicht sogfältig geprüft.

Ich habe mir ja die Standard Iso genommen und direkt auf einem Hyper-V installiert. Da kann man nicht viel falsch machen. Besonders nicht wenn es 10 mal klappt und dann auf X Systemen nicht mehr.

Das ist nicht so und muss es auch nicht zwingend. Ich habe SuSE im Einsatz und da ist nichts zu sehen von diesem Fehlerbild.

I have the same issue. When I download the ISO from the homepage and run it inside Hyper-V the setup competes but I can not login with the error message „database error“ upon checking the DB no tables get created and inside the install log I can find a strange error
-C/-U/—create-old are mutually exclusive. Decide already!

This error originates from gromox-dbop. It somehow seems like it can’t parse the parameters correctly.

@Andy dann installiere doch mal zum testen neu, in einer neuen VM. Ist ja in 10 Minuten gemacht, bestehende Installationen sind auch offensichtlich nicht betroffen. Aber hier liegt der Focus ja auf die Neuinstallationen.

War bei mir so.
Nach einem Update hat noch alles funktioniert.
Erst nach einer Neuinstallation hat es nicht mehr funktioniert.
Nach der Info von PaulD sieht es ja so aus, dass der Fehler beim Anlegen der Datenbank auftritt.

Ich kann das mal wieder machen mit der Appliance vom 29.1. Der Punkt ist, dass beim Setup immer die neusten Updates geladen werden, von daher kann das Ergebnis variieren.

Aus diesem Grund habe ich auch schon nur Core installiert ohne das System zu aktualisieren und beim Setup mit gesperrten Internetverbindung, sodass nur die Daten der ISO verwendet werden. Eine Lösung ist das letztlich aber nicht und vor allem, wenn alle Module installiert werden sollen, geht das nicht, weil die Daten heruntergeladen werden müssen.

Bei der Appliance vom 29.1. zeigt sich da ohnehin ein Fehler, sollen alle Module installiert werden, ist die Installation fehlerhaft, nur Core soll angeblich gut sein.

Der Meinung bin ich halt auch. Ich habe einen Freund am Wochenende gebeten sein Grommunio zu sichern und mal zu updaten. Das Update lief auch da ohne Probleme durch (die die noch offen waren). Ich bilde mir das ja auch nicht ein, das ich X Test Installationen erfolgreich durchgeführt habe und auf einmal geht es auf X Verschiedenen Hyper-V Servern nicht mehr.
