Outlook Shift + Delete bypasses Deleted Items Recovery

Shift Delete in Outlook 365 is bypassing the deleted Items recovery menu. Emails are completely destroyed and unrecoverable, but this is not standard behavior... Can we get this fixed?

Steakie the standard behaviour is that shift-delete should bypass the deleted items folder in the mailbox and go straight to deleted items recovery. This is a special hidden folder in the mailbox that acts as a second-level recovery for a limited period of time (typically 30 days on Exchange, not sure what Grommunio is set to by default).
It looks like shift-deleted items or items emptied from the regular deleted items folder are no longer going to deleted items recovery and are getting purged immediately.

I have noticed this as well. It seems to have started about a month ago, judging by the gap in deleted items recovery on my system. The last item in my deleted Items recovery was deleted on 17th Sept.
The equivalent option "Restore Items" in Grommunio Web shows the same (lack of) contents as deleted items recovery in Outlook.
