thilobi Hi everyone, since there is no /etc/sysconfig/fetchmail in Debian I don't know where to set the poll interval value. Creating the file manually had no impact. I searched the system for files containing daemon interval values and tried to change them with no effect. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
thilobi Sure, but if I understood right you have to set up a cronjob for proper functionality of fetchmail as explained here. That cronjob overwrites the Global settings section, where I normally insert a line like "set daemon 120" Or can I just cut that cronjob out once the fetchmailrc has been written?
thilobi Ok, got it: in/etc/init.d/fetchmail there is a line OPTIONS="$OPTIONS -d 300" change300to the amount of seconds fetchmail should retrieve mail
