unknown directive "vhost_traffic_status_zone"

I updated my grommunio server running on debian 12 today and got this error message:
2025/10/29 10:32:22 [emerg] 208108#208108: unknown directive "vhost_traffic_status_zone" in /usr/share/grommunio-admin-common/traffic-dfl.conf:1
I added this line on the top of /etc/nginx/nginx.conf:
load_module /usr/lib/nginx/modules/ngx_http_vhost_traffic_status_module.so;
that solved the problem but maybe it's not the most logical place to insert that fix?

Try apt update and apt dist-upgrade this may solve the issue.

i experienced this morning after an update similar problems, but uncommented (#) the directive in traffic-dfl.conf.
Just after getting nginx up and running, there was another update (IMHO grommunio-admin-common) and this replaced traffic-dfl.conf again (my # was gone) and it was running.
Relatively new (30.10.25) is /usr/share/nginx/modules/mod_vts.conf (Grommunio Appliance, Community Edition), which loads the module ngx_http_vhost_traffic_status_module.so
