Greetings!
We have been running Grommunio 2023.11.3, with SuSE 15.3 with no problems, but need to upgrade to a more recent version for multiple reasons. I originally tried upgrading just by 'zypper ref' and 'zypper up', but so many things broke, I reverted back to a previous backup (I'm kicking myself that I didn't do a snapshot before the update), and the backup was a few weeks old. Nevertheless, at least everything is functioning again.
My question is. What would be the best way to bring everything current? Should I first upgrade from 15.3 -> 15.4 -> 15.5 -> 15.6, or would it be safe to jump straight from 15.3 -> 15.6.
Once the base OS is updated, then update Grommunio? Or should I just install the newest appliance, then migrate configs/mailboxes to the new appliance? If this is the best approach, any pointers / files I need to ensure I backup? I'm mainly concerned with mailboxes, domains, and the postfix config as we use sendgrid to actually deliver messages.
Thanks in advance for any pointers / tips.
