Gromox Backup fails with status KILLED

usr/sbin/gromox-export -u inbox@domain.tld -ar / > /srv/backups/inbox-user.mt
Killed

Sometimes it works, sometimes it fails. No useful logs what could be causing the issue. Any ideas?

Inbox size: 5 GB
Enough free space (10 GB)
2 CPUs
8 GB RAM
Debian GNU/Linux 13
Grommunio supported
Proxmox Hypervisor
Only 3 Mail Users

Try a mailbox repair?
gromox-mbck -p /var/lib/gromox/user/X/Y/exmdb/exchange.sqlite3
X/Y replace with correct paht.

In a second putty windows, run journalctl -fdo you see the Out of Memory killer, killing the backup task?

Nothing to repair.
I have increased my RAM to 12 GB.

Now it seems to work, still... this shouldn't happen at all. A backup tool should not rely on the inbox size / total RAM.

It is a tool developed in C, which has some memory issues.

Wenn du parallel zu dem gromox-export ein
top -d 1 -o %MEM
laufen läßt, dann siehst du daß gromox-export der Out of Memory killer ist.
