@Maridor
Hi.
Sorry I posted my "solution" in the other thread for the Update 15.6 to 16.0
I ran into a file conflict while updating a grommunio appliance on openSUSE Leap 16.0.
In my case the update failed while installing grommunio-office-fonts 9.4.0 because several font files already belonged to existing font packages like dejavu-fonts, liberation-fonts, google-noto-* and others.
The error looked like this:
File /usr/share/fonts/truetype/DejaVuSans.ttf
from install of
grommunio-office-fonts-9.4.0-lp160.1.1.noarch
conflicts with file from package
dejavu-fonts
Update aborded.
This is what worked for me.
Refresh repos and check available updates:
zypper ref && zypper lu --allow-vendor-change
Start the update:
zypper update -y
If the update fails because of grommunio-office-fonts file conflicts, find the cached RPM and detect the installed packages owning the same files:
rpmfile=$(find /var/cache/zypp/packages -name 'grommunio-office-fonts-*.rpm' | sort -V | tail -1); conflicts_clean=$(rpm -qlp "$rpmfile" | while read -r f; do rpm -qf --qf '%{NAME}\n' "$f" 2>/dev/null; done | sort -u | grep -v '^grommunio-office-fonts$'); printf '%s\n' $conflicts_clean
Do a dry-run first:
zypper rm --dry-run $conflicts_clean
If the dry-run only wants to remove font packages, remove them:
zypper rm $conflicts_clean
In my case (on one system) one additional package was still conflicting afterwards:
zypper rm arabic-kacstone-fonts
Run the update again:
zypper update -y
After that the package installation completed successfully.
One more thing:
After the grommunio-office update, two services failed for me:
ds-converter.service
ds-docservice.service
The update had created a new config file:
/etc/grommunio-office/default.json.rpmnew
I moved the old config away and used the new rpmnew file as default.json:
mv /etc/grommunio-office/default.json /etc/grommunio-office/default.json.old
mv /etc/grommunio-office/default.json.rpmnew /etc/grommunio-office/default.json
Afterwards I restarted the services:
systemctl restart ds-converter ds-docservice
Then I checked:
systemctl --failed
systemctl status -l ds-converter ds-docservice --no-pager
This fixed the issue on my systems.
Of course, please check the dry-run output before removing packages, and keep a backup of the old default.json before replacing it.
