Relocate private mailstores

Is there a possibility to move the grommunio private mailstores from /var/lib/grommunio to another directory, say an mounted nfs drive with more storage?

I know there are grommunio-admin commands available, but I can't figure out the right command / syntax.
Any help is appreciated!

i'm not certain if an NFS-Store would be the right choice for the Storage.
I know what you are trying to do. And i'm just warning you that you should think about "locking" :-)..

To move the Store i would go as followed..

Stop all gromox-* & grommunio-* services.
- systemctl --all --output json list-units| jq '.[]|select(.unit|test("(^grom.*|nginx|.*fpm).service")).unit' |xargs systemctl stop
Configs
- There are a bunch. Github-Search
- Gromox state_path
Database
- Take a look at "grommunio.users.maildir"

And as further i look the more complicated it will become i guess.

If you really want to do this i would suggest you install a fresh system and configure everything prior to user-creation/migration.

On the other hand.. You could just mount /some/storage /var/lib/gromox/user :-).
This would obviously be the easiest solution.

But i would test the NFS-Store for at least a week with a current backup before you really do migrate!
Again, in a test-system.

I´d recommend using a bind mount. This is usually the least invasive option in such cases.
But that will not work around any potential limitation of NFS.

We move the /var/lib/gromox/ to /data and link it together with an symlink.

create a volume and mount it to /data/gromox/
Stop all gromox-* & grommunio-* services
mv /var/lib/gromox/ /data/
if this is an .OVA installation, you need to remark the mountpoint in /etc/fstab and umount /var/lib/gromox/
create a symlink like: ln -s /data/gromox /var/lib/gromox
start all gromox-* & grommunio-* services

I do not recommend a nfs volume, stay with btrfs.
Btw. this moves also the domain directory, but this is small.
