bheam Is there any way to improve email receive rate in outlook? When i send an email to my mailbox, it takes about 2-3 seconds to show in the maillog and eml/ dir but outlook still takes up to a minute to receive it. Which could be very annoying if you're on a phone call and agree to show something by email. Is there no "push" functionality in exchange protocol? Thanks in advance for any input!
mwilliams bheam How does [exchange] advertise_mh=no in /etc/gromox/autodiscover.ini work for you? (close outlook, open outlook, wait 1 minute, close and reopen again, check now) and as usual: which gromox version?
jengelh We do not implement push (in the sense of MS-OXCNOTIF), but do implement asynchronous notification. With RPCH, when Outlook gets a ping through the async channel, it still gives itself up to an 8-second-ish delay before it drains the notification queue. With MH, I can confirm that something isn't quite right and it takes longer than 8s, but have not finalized my analysis yet who's at fault. (advertise_rpch/advertise_mh]
WalterH Is this on Debian? Currently with Debian, there is a issue with Outlook. Mails arrive to slow in Outlook.
