LDAP connection to UCS 5

Hi@all,

About a year ago I stopped my experiments with Grommunio. For my environment, too many things just didn't work.

The basic component in our setups is the UCS5 Samba ADS/LDAP.

Are there any ready-made templates for Grommunio-UCS5 connection so that this runs directly?

What a pity! Then I just wait until here times a connection "out-of-the-box" works :-)

We use UCS ourselves, as do many customers. Since today it is also possible to directly choose Univention as a template (in community) -> https://github.com/grommunio/admin-web/commit/45689ef1cdec2c961750dcd0ec03e843153ba47c

Please do use 7389 or 7636 (don't forget to import the certificate), and it is as turnkey as possible.

mahescho : please check if you really used/created univention contacts, because we do use them and they work.

My current test system is connected to a UCS LDAP server. See:

for my LDAP configuration. BTW: Contacts do not work for me. That's no problem as I don't need/use them.

I just don't need the UCS contacts and with the contact filter in the commit LDAP import failed for me. For my personal use the user filter:

(&(objectClass=kopano-user)(kopanoSharedStoreOnly=0))

fits best. With ony "objectClass=posixAccount" as user filter the so called "Kopano-Non-Active.Accounts" - public folders in Grommunio - will also be hit.
