mwilliams bunker Well, only shared mailboxes have grayed out "POP3/IMAP" (or when using Archive, but then it is grayed out and activated, since required). Please check again the field below Username - Should be "Mode: Normal". You can also monitor imap login, refer to https://docs.grommunio.com/man/imap.8gx.html for extensive documentation on logging.
bunker I understand. I was able before and not anymore since I can';t tell you. Probably also since an update somewhere. FYI I never created Shared mailboxes and all users under all domain have grayed out "POP3/IMAP" My system is very small. only 15 users and still all by default.
WalterH Install current updates. If the updates do not solve the issue: with 15 users, you have a subscription. Ask grommunio for support.
Grummel Check, if "Allow POP3/IMAP logins" is activated in the Defaults section in the Web-UI. I remember, that I couldn't activate or change a setting in the user section (I don't remember what is was) when it was not activated in the Defaults.
WalterH Is IMAP service running? Please post output of: systemctl status gromox-imap In Admin-UI - Logging - gromox-imap there are any errors or other important messages?
bunker I completly understand the fact that it is for new created users and/or domains.. It is not greyd-out on domains, but it is on users. Even if I do activate imap on domain and save, still can't on user. ?
mwilliams bunker sorry, we couldn't neither reproduce it nor did we get any reports alike. I suggest to head over to support.
Steakie Hello there. From the next update on, the POP3/IMAP checkbox will be greyed out AND checked when archive is active
bunker Steakie, You absolutely right ! If I uncheck Archive, Pop3/imap becomes checkable. This solved my problem. Thanks !
