wernerN Ich setze sowohl Outlook 2016 (auf PC) als auch IMAP (Thunderbird auf PC, Android Mail Client) für den Zugriff auf meine Mails ein. Wenn ich in Outlook eine Mail aus dem Posteingang lösche oder verschiebe, bleibt die Mail im IMAP-basierten Client Programm stehen und kann auch noch angezeigt werden, obwohl ich die Mails nicht lokal vorhalte. Lösche ich eine Mail mit einem IMAP Client, verschwindet diese auch in Outlook. Eine neu angekommene Mail wird auch unter IMAP angezeigt. Alle Installationen sind aktuell. Da ich verschiedene IMAP Clients benutze, gehe ich von einem generellen Problem von grommunio aus...
WalterH obwohl ich die Mails nicht lokal vorhalte. Wer hält die Mail nicht lokal vor? OL muss im Caching Mode laufen, somit gibt es die Mail lokal, IMAP Clienten cachen zwingend. Somit müssen die Mails immer lokal sein - oder verstehe ich da was falsch?
Andy Ich habe in der Vergangenheit nur mit Outlook annehmbare Erfahrungen mit IMAP im Zusammenhang mit Grommunio gemacht. Mit Thunderbird war es immer ein Problem, keine Ahnung, weshalb. Da ich MAPI einsetze, habe ich das nur weiter beobachtet. In Thunderbird habe ich das einigermassen erst dann ans laufen bekommen, nachdem ich die Aboanzeigefunktion deaktiviert habe. Dennoch gab es immer Störungen, musste neu anlegen usw.
WalterH Andy Ich habe Kunden die nur mit Thunderbird arbeiten, das funktioniert, ausgenommen Public Folder. Vor allem mit den letzten Änderungen ist IMAP deutlich stabiler geworden.
wernerN In Thunderbird gibt es unter "Synchronisation & Speicherplatz" die Option Gibt es in Grommunio 2 unterschiedliche "Indizes" zur Verwaltung der Mails?
wernerN Unterschiedliche IMAP Clients untereinander harmonieren wohl auch... Habe irgendwann mal auch einen Post gesehen, dass man die IMAP Synchronisation auf dem Server neu herstellen solle. Finde aber den Beitrag nicht mehr.
WalterH wernerN Wenn etwas Zeit ist, erkläre ich das im Forum. Die Kurzfassung: Die MIDBs neu erstellen: systemctl stop gromox-midb grommunio-admin user query username | grep "@" | xargs -n 1 gromox-mkmidb -vf systemctl start gromox-midb systemctl restart gromox-imap Dann den Cleaner laufen lassen: for i in /var/lib/gromox/user/*/*; do /usr/libexec/gromox/cleaner -d "$i"; done Nun mit den IMAP Clienten verbinden, das dauert aber, da erst jetzt die MIDBs upgedatet werden.
