[SOLVED] Appointments not shown in Scheduling view

Hi,

when trying to schedule an appointment in the Web UI, not even my own appointments are shown:

The whole line is grey which means "No Information" according to the legend at the bottom.

However, both my appointments and the appointments of the person I am trying to invite are used for the blue line above the two respective participants.

Is there something I am missing? I should be shown my own appointments at least?

hi, yes true,
after a quick look, my busy or out of office time is not viewable.

to see if I the one who is sending out the invitation is busy or not i use a trick
i add myself to the schedule and then my free / not free shows up
but after that i have to remove myself if not i run into an error

the errro <<--- when you are in the wrong calender that might happen ( no error shows up when you just set an appointment in the foreign calender, but when you add an attendee an error occured due lack of permissions)

as it looks like you can only use scheduling when you add yourself as an required attendee
so it looks like to me the user is
a) a meeting organizer and b) attendee at the same time
each change of time sends you an email ... as usual cuz u r an attendee ... for the benefit you can use the scheduling function not pretty handy on a 12" notebook @les ;)

here i can add other attendees too and send them an ivitation

Ok, thanks for the confirmation. If I understand the previous comments correctly, you are at least able to see the invited person's availabilty -- I can't, it's grey as well (cf. screenshot in #1).

when u use meeting request instead of appointment you see all your busy free time of all your stuff invited
(ressources not checkd)

if im gettin your screenshot right your test user is greyed same here
and he blue line is showin you that there is busy time

when i scroll in the past then there is for all attendees the right colored block of busy out of office whatever,
seems like a feature (GDPR like) but not a very usefull one .... gonna dive deeper into it, maybe the tech guys here find it interesting enough to fix it.

have you checked the permissions on shared calendars
yes i can add a meeting in a foreigen calendar
but i cant add attendees to that meeting would be a show stopper

Not working on shared calendars -- this is my own personal calendar. I want to invite another person, and want to view the times they are available, which are not shown.

yes this is working
when u use Meeting request then scheduling
and no user added u see your busy time / whatever the blue line same as in your screenshot
when you add another person the blue line stays the same or increases the grey bars are no good use in this case
if you set your meet n greet between 2 blue lines all of your attendees have free time

so this is working
not in a very sexy way but hey its working ;)

Ah ok. I was expecting to see the free/busy times of the different people instead of the grey area, like in "other solutions" ;-)

The crazy thing is when you go to the past you the Grey bars disappear and the real bars show up

The blue line is kind of....

There is no easy answer to Free/Busy. If you have time and want to see some really crazy info from the inventors directly:

This covers also Free/Busy. Unfortunately, we are not able to yet provide this level of permissions within grommunio Web, we intend to change this though as soon as possible.

das witzige ist das du für die zukunft graue balken siehst (also no info)
gehst du in die vergangenheit siehst du pro user die richtigen blöcke (bei zarafa ist dsa genauso )
bei kop** müsst ich nachschauen

wenn man die blaue linie im webIf einmal verstanden hat, dann wundert man sich nicht mehr wieso der chef immer genau dann calls einberuft wenn nix im kalender steht

Es hängt mit den Permissions untrennbar zusammen. Die Rechte definieren was gemacht wird und was nicht. Dazu kommt, dass Free/Busy immer wieder in verschiedenen Abständen gepublished wird, so z.B. auch in Outlook: extendoffice.com/documents/outlook/1482-outlook-set-free-busy-information.html

wenn du haben willst das jemand nicht nur graue balken sieht wenn er ein meeting mit dir plant
dann setz die berechtigungen im Kalender dann siehst du auch die Balken
