Grommunio-files user not exist

Hi community,

I have a problem with grommunio-files, login with admin account is ok but login for user created in admin interface don't have access (invalid password or username).

With the command occ user:list, the result showing only admin account.

Can you help me ?

didwal The user accounts for Grommunio Files are not the same as those for Grommunio itself. Login to Grommunio Files as your newly created Grommunio Files Admin account then you can add Grommunio Files users within the GF interface.

I normally create the accounts so they have the same login and password as used for Grommunio itself ()makes it easier for the users) although your password policy might not allow this

It's just a shame that both cannot be functional with the same login and password.

didwal If you are happy for your users to save the passwords in a password manager or their default browser, once the accounts and passwords are set, they do not need to enter them except the first time they log into their profiles.

Grommunio Files is basically a modified version of Nextcloud, and all the Nextcloud clients work with Grommunio Files, so they can be set to login with the user. Also if you open the Grommunio Web client, then go to settings you can add the Files add in (where you can add the users login details) and Files will be available via the web browser client. So lots of ways around users having to login twice.
