A Feature-Request was openend after i asked about that feature in a ticket.
If more people will ask about that, it will become more likely to get bumped.

Would also like to see this feature – this is supported by almost all providers and also email suites (like mailcow and others) support it. But grommunio is still missing this til today 😢

Am I missing something or does it have to be activated manually? I tried it yesterday and it didn't work. I always got 550 5.1.1 <admin+test@domain.de>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table (in reply to RCPT TO command) as a response. It only works if I add this "plus address" to the list of aliases for the mailbox. But thats not the purpose of the plus addressing is it? 😉

You should check your postfix configuration. Plus addressing is not enabled on transport by default, since it is not 'common' practice in exchange worlds.
