I have experienced several issues with EAS sync since I installed my Grommunio instance and after the latest update to grommunio-sync, my clients suddenly stopped synchronizing. When I investigated the issue, I found that the POSIX rights on the folder/var/log/grommunio-sync
and all its files had been stripped of the access tights for the group gromox.
I have now put a default acl on grommunio-sync to ensure that it and it's files retain access to the gromox group and thus, these sync issue will not occur again, after the next update to grommunio-sync.
