Hi
The "/etc/nginx/nginx.conf" file is the one released by the official alma9 package plus the three "load_module" lines listed above.
The configuration files of gromox packages are all by default I have only valued the file "ssl_certificate.conf" as above.
these are the packages installed before going ahead with the documentation:
[root@mail ~]# rpm -qa | grep ^"grom\|^nginx" | sort
grommunio-common-14.dfc18e0-18.1.x86_64
grommunio-error-pages-1.0.6.9c50afb-3.7.noarch
grommunio-web-3.2.25.e3d0461-207.2.noarch
gromox-2.6.96.26d8235-39.1.x86_64
nginx-1.20.1-13.el9.alma.x86_64
nginx-core-1.20.1-13.el9.alma.x86_64
nginx-filesystem-1.20.1-13.el9.alma.noarch
nginx-module-brotli-1.0.0rc+g1-10.4.x86_64
nginx-module-vts-1.20.1.0.2.1-3.4.x86_64
these are the active services:
# systemctl is-active gromox-event gromox-timer gromox-http nginx.service php-fpm.service mariadb.service

No errors in any service only warnings for "gromox-http":

The original domain name is replaced in this thread with "mail.mydomain.org" and configuring the domainname doesn't seem to change the result of the tests performed with the following parameters:
[root@mail ~]# cat /etc/hostname
mail
[root@mail ~]# domainname
(none)
[root@mail ~]# hostname
mail
[root@mail ~]# grep ^host_id /etc/gromox/http.cfg
host_id=mail.mydomain.org
