WalterH You stated, you repaired the hostname, did you also verify /etc/hosts for the correct hostname? Additionally, are all DNS tests successful? About nginx, you already show the error in your post: cannot load certificate "/etc/grommunio-common/ssl/server-bundle.pem". Without an valid certificate nginx can't start the HTTPS listener and reports error 500. This sounds like the certificate do not match the hostname. To solve this issue: recreate the self signed certificate or get an Let's Encrypt certificate or buy a certificate.
antipiot WalterH Yes i did. everything is working fine UNTIL i update (appart from console GUI) For the error cannot load certificate, please look at the date, it's an old error... Please, it's not hostname, certificate or dns related. If you want to check by yourslelf, i'd be happy to give you an access
WalterH With one of the last updates something was changed in the name resolution and the HTTP 500 problem occurs now more strongly.
antipiot WalterH yes, but i fixed it and it's still occuring. And as you can see in logs, theres likely no error. Dont know what to say and how to help more...
antipiot WalterH Ok. It looks to be ipv6 related probably. Disabling ipv6 (wich i dont need to use) leads to error 500. Any hint?
antipiot WalterH New problem: the server started to use IPV6 for no reason and that IP has no PTR entry, so mail get rejected. I've only configured IPv4 in network settings. How can i solve that? 1 more problem to solve yay! 🙂
WalterH This is yast, the system SUSE configuration utility. There are also other settings that make the system unusable. The system does not need an IPv6 address, only the IPv6 stack must be enabled. That was the default configuration.
antipiot Solution for emails being sent over ipv6 instead of ipv4 causing a PTR error on the recipient side: just enter this command postconf -e "inet_protocols = ipv4"
WalterH If I interpret your last posts correctly, the error 500 is solved and sending mail when IPv6 is enabled is also solved.
antipiot WalterH Sorry about the misunderstanding. Sending mail is indeed fixed. but i still have no console and error 500 / no console once i go for the update.
