Ok, I'm feeling like I'm going crazy here.
TL : DR - A new install of Grommunio mail only with a single user created in a new domain in a new organization. When I log in to the web as the user, I create three new folders under Inbox. I log out, then log back in. The Inbox is colapased and I am unable to expand Inbox to see the folders. If I connect with Outlook, everything is fully functional. All versions are new / current as of 9/2/2024. Where am I going wrong here?
Here's the long version:
I tested Grommunio about 4 months ago, was happy with what I was seeing enough to move off of Exchange on-prem. So I planned for an outage this weekend to migrate users over. I deployed a new VM with the most current ISO this past Friday, and prepped to migrate.
I exported a PST from Exchange, and used the following to import:
gromox-e2ghelper -s /mnt/migrate/user1.pst -u user1@domain.com
Import completed without errors or issues. However, when testing by logging into the Web UI after migration of the first user (myself), I couldn't expand the Inbox to see the imported subfolders and I couldn't open the calendar. I could see the imported mail in the Inbox though. I connect Outlook, and I could use everything as expected; I could expand the Inbox, and get to all of the folders.
I'm very new to Grommunio, so I tried to look at permissions of the folders in Outlook, and via SSH with grommunio-admin exmdb. I couldn't figure out where things were hung up. So I wiped and built a new VM with a new ISO download. I started by just creating a user by hand, and doing nothing else. I was able to create subfolders by hand, and access them. However, when I logged out, and logged back in to the Web UI, the Inbox would not expand.
Something is odd. Any thoughts or direction on where to go on this?
